CloudFront Object Invalidation


    Introduction

  • The latest version of CloudBuddy Personal supports CloudFront Object Invalidation in distribution feature offered by Amazon.

    • Create Object Invalidation batch for a Distribution

  • Select object(s) in CloudBuddy Personal Explorer and right click to choose “Object Invalidate” menu to invalidate the selected object(s) for a distribution.
  •   

  • This opens up the Object Invalidation Console window. In this window select the distribution and create the object invalidate batch for the selected object(s).
  •   

  • This process creates the object invalidation batch for a distribution.

    • View the invalidated object(s) for a distribution

  • Click the “CloudFront” button in the tool bar. This opens up the 'CloudFront Console'
  •   

  • Select the “Object Invalidation” tab in CloudFront Console window and select the distribution domain to view the invalidation list.
  •   

  • By selecting the invalidation id, you will be able to view the corresponding object(s).
