Default Bucket


    Introduction

  • CloudBuddy Personal 2.0.7 version and above supports "Default Bucket" functionality. This functionality helps user in setting up their default bucket for each AWS S3 account. The bucket that is selected as a default bucket will be displayed first, when CloudBuddy Personal is launched or whenever the user switches between accounts.

    • How to set the default bucket?

  • The default bucket popup screen shown below is loaded when the user set up the new account.

    • Can the default bucket be changed after configuration?

  • Yes, it's possible. The user can do it in two ways.

    1. By clicking on "Default Bucket Settings" under the "Tools" menu opens the Default Bucket window
  •   
  • User is allowed to change or reset the default bucket
  •   
  • 2. The user is allowed to set the selected bucket as default bucket using "Reset Default Bucket" context menu
  •
